Marathon Beach
Marathon Beach is a lengthy, sandy seashore stretching along the northeastern coast of Athens. It boasts some large on-site rocks and a smooth, shallow seabed, while it is about an hour away from the city center. Marathon hosts a plethora of beach bars and taverns near the shore, as well as plenty of sun loungers and sun umbrellas for rent.
Schinias Beach
A lengthy beach with a sandy coast and shallow, crystalline waters, Schinias Beach is located at the edge of a thick pine forest, with trees extending all the way to the shoreline. While many sections of the beach are organised, the best area for relaxation and a leisurely walk is at its breathtaking northern boundary. Food, activities, entertainment, and even ports are within a very reasonable distance.
